YOUR FIRST VISIT
If you’re new to Kiln Photo, we recommend arranging a short, free consultation before booking a session. This gives us the opportunity to understand your interests and experience, and to introduce you to the studio and how it works.

STUDIO ACCESS
Sessions are 3 hours long and provide access to our Facilities and Equipment. Tutor guidance is available during each session to support your work and help you use the facilities confidently.
If you’re new to particular equipment or processes, we’ll guide you towards a workshop or one-to-one tutorial to help you get started safely and independently.
1:1 TUTORIALS
One-to-one tutorials last 1 hour and are tailored to your individual needs. These can focus on specific techniques or processes, such as:

Using a DSLR camera

Introduction to Lightroom or Photoshop

Studio lighting for portraiture

Darkroom printing techniques
Tutorials can take place during opening hours, or by arrangement before or after a session.
